P J is the second generation of his family to farm at Handley Bottom Farm as a tenant of the Chatsworth Estate since 1959.
PJ and his dad Peter work on the farm together aided by their 3 working dogs Tess (who is away at training school at the moment), Billy and May, PJ also shares his home with 2 of their dogs who have now retired Perry and Scott.
The farm nestles in the hills over looking the Chatsworth Estate in this beautiful area of the Peak District.
PJ and Peter breed and rear over 800 Swaledale and Texel/Suffolk Cross ewes as well as their herd of Limousin and Simmental Beef Cattle
